Spring is a traditionally busy time for us as many people look to renew their kitchen at this time of year. The spring season seems to motivate people to improve their homes more than at any other time during the year. I am not immune to the effects myself! I have been doing some decorating over the Easter weekend. Whilst I do not particularly enjoy doing the decorating at the time I do get a great sense of satisfaction when I see the finished result.
So far this year we have been designing mainly modern gloss handleless kitchens. Gloss oyster has been a firm favourite (I would describe the oyster colour as an ivory colour with a hint of warmth). The gloss white J-profile handleless kitchens have also been very popular and the new pale grey colour has been getting quite a bit of interest since its release.
We have been teaming various worktops with the modern slab style kitchen designs. One standout choice has been the solid 30mm Quartz composite worktops in dark grey with a mirror fleck in the stone. This looks fantastic when teamed with white or oyster furniture. We have also used wood look laminate worktops to good effect with a white gloss kitchen. This was a great combination as it brought an element of warmth into the design as sometimes people are concerned a gloss white could look too stark or clinical.
